PC ,the Chinese name is polycarbonate. It is a new type of thermoplastic with a transparency of 90% and is known as a transparent metal. It is rigid and tough, has high impact strength, high dimensional stability and a wide range of use temperatures, good electrical insulation properties, heat resistance and non-toxicity. It can be molded by injection and extrusion.

PC Polycarbonate Transparent Film has excellent thermal properties, can be used for a long time between -100℃-130℃, and the embrittlement temperature is below -100℃. Although polycarbonate has poor resistance to cracking and chemical resistance, high temperature and easy hydrolysis, poor compatibility with other resins, and poor lubricating properties, it can be modified by adding other resins or inorganic fillers to obtain excellent results. Performance.

Application range of polycarbonate Polycarbonate Film

Optical lighting: used to manufacture large-scale lampshades, protective glass, left and right eyepiece tubes of optical instruments, etc., and can also be widely used in transparent materials on airplanes.

Electronics and electrical appliances: Polycarbonate is an excellent E (120°C) grade insulating material, used to manufacture insulating connectors, coil frames, tube sockets, insulating sleeves, telephone shells and parts, and battery shells for miner’s lamps. It can also be used to make parts with high dimensional accuracy, such as compact discs, telephones, electronic computers, video recorders, telephone switches, signal relays and other communication equipment. Polycarbonate thin film is also widely used as capacitors, insulating bags, audio tapes, color video tapes and so on.

Mechanical equipment: used to manufacture various gears, racks, worm gears, worms, bearings, cams, bolts, levers, crankshafts, ratchets, as well as some mechanical equipment housings, covers, frames and other parts.

Medical equipment: cups, tubes, bottles, dental equipment, medicine containers and surgical instruments that can be used for medical purposes, and even artificial organs such as artificial kidneys and artificial lungs.

Other aspects: used in construction as hollow rib double-wall panels, greenhouse glass, etc.; in the textile industry as textile bobbins, textile machine bearings, etc.; in daily use as milk bottles, tableware, toys and models, etc.

   Polycarbonate (PC) advantages:

①High strength and elastic coefficient, high impact strength, wide operating temperature range

②High transparency, you can dye any color you want

  ③High heat resistance. High HDT

④Tasteless, odorless, harmless to the human body, in line with hygiene and safety, food grade

⑤Low molding shrinkage, good dimensional stability, easy to process

⑥Excellent electrical characteristics, high flame retardant level

⑦ UV resistance, good weather resistance

⑧ Good fatigue resistance, good toughness

  Polycarbonate (PC) disadvantages:

①Poorly designed molded products are prone to internal stress problems (how to eliminate the internal stress of PC plastic products)

②The injection molding machine is required to be high during processing, and the processing temperature is about 310 degrees.
