Two types of high performance (PC) polycarbonate film:
1) Clear Polycarbonate-type GG (gloss/gloss surface)
2) Hazy Polycarbonate- type VM (Velvet/Matte surface)
Polycarbonate films have exceptional impact strength, weatherability and thermoformability.
Our clear polycarbonate is idea for optical clarity applications that also require high impact strength properties.
Velvet/Matte polycarbonate is also available that is translucent in color and can be used for privacy applications while maintaining high impact strength.
Common plastics associated with polycarbonate include Acrylic, Polyester, and PETG. In comparison, Polycarbonate has a higher impact strength than most acrylic and PETG, and better dimensional stability than Polyester (PET).
Polycarbonate film is a great all-around high-performance material for various applications.
