What Is GAG Film?
GAG Film is three-layer, composed of:
Outer layer: GPET (G)
Middle layer: APET (A)
Inner layer: GPET (G)
By combining different PET materials in a multilayer structure, GAG Film achieves improved strength, clarity, and thermoforming performance compared with single-layer PET film.

GAG Film is especially suitable for thermoforming processes. It can be easily heated and molded into complex shapes with smooth edges and sharp details, supporting mass production.
2.Higher impact resistance
GAG Film provides moderate barrier protection against moisture and gases, helping extend the shelf life of food and other packaged products.
3.Improved surface smoothness
PETG is an amorphous copolymer. Unlike materials that crystallize (like standard PET), its polymer chains are arranged randomly. This structure prevents the formation of rough, crystalline textures during cooling, resulting in an inherently smooth, glass-like surface with high intrinsic gloss.
4.Better performance for deep drawing and complex shapes
When heated for thermoforming, PETG can stretch extensively (over 100%) without necking or tearing prematurely.Its high melt strength ensures the sheet sags evenly without thinning out or tearing, allowing it to uniformly drape into deep and complex molds.
